We have chosen Townhouse over every other cracker for years. It has been a staple on our biweekly shopping list almost every shopping trip/order placed. We've spent hundreds on this brand. The last couple of years, box after box would have excessive breakage and 2 or 3 sleeves of pale, undercooked crackers. In recent months, it's been every box we've purchased. They no longer have a well buttery toasted flavor or color. After keeping hope alive, we won't be purchasing again. We kept purchasing thinking it was just periodic batch variations causing the flavor difference and/or stock handling causing breakage. We're not huge fans of Ritz, but that will be our default moving forward.
We miss the old Townhouse Crackers.

You can't really eat these anymore. All you get is a pile of crumbs when you open up the box. I'm going to stop buying them even though they used to be my favorite cracker.
Too brittle now

The flavor is good BUT, they crumble into tiny pieces where I literally have to use a spoon to eat them. Every box is that way.

They’re horrible. They’re thinner, bland and break easily.
Not The Same

All you get are broken crackers & Crumbs, crumbs crumbs what a mess. I used to buy these all the time and they're really good don't get me wrong they're delicious . I had no problem with them in the past when I used to buy them. I just bought some the other day and all I got were just broken breaking up crackers no matter how careful I open up the package the crackers were just break apart. the company or manufacturer must have changed the ingredients to the crackers.where they're just too soft they break apart the moment you open them from the package they break not good for dipping they just break we bought these for party and they just were just crumbs tried using a knife to spread the cheese or the topping and they just broke apart not ideal for dipping. Or even spreading a crackers aren't strong enough to hold that. So I'm going back to Ritz crackers they got it right they're stronger and better and hold up for dipping open up the package without them breaking their Brazilian pieces every time we would open up a new package within the box.

Every single cracker in the box is broken into smithereens. Not snapped in half. Not slightly chipped. They're literal crumbs. Every. Single. One. Don't buy this terrible product.
Crumby product. Literally.

I LOVE Town House crackers. As an autistic person, these are the only crackers I can actually like. They’re perfect. They taste great in a way I can’t quite nitpick, all I can decipher is that other crackers are bland and too crunchy. I see people complain that these are too crumbly, but that’s exactly why I love them! Nonetheless, I’ll confess that they were pretty soft. I think they’ve changed, as they’re firmer and a more golden color. I can’t notice a flavor change (if any, it’s not a heavy deal breaker), though, so that’s nice! I’d say the recipe is awesome where it is, and I’ll continue loving Town House crackers. I boast about how much I enjoy them to everyone. Friends, family, strangers online… they’re amazing as a general snack and paired with other sides.
Overall, they’re now less crumbly while maintaining the flavor and absolutely perfect! I highly recommend them.
These are the best crackers!
